Nathen Hauerwas

With over two decades of hands-on experience in the building trades, I’ve worked in nearly every aspect of construction — from plumbing and electrical to framing, roofing, doors, windows, flooring, and concrete. I’ve built homes from the ground up, gaining real-world knowledge that can’t be taught in a classroom. My background combines both practical field experience and scientific study, as my academic interests include Epigenetics, Microbiology, and Chemistry. 

That blend of science and craftsmanship has shaped how I approach building — with precision, attention to detail, and a deep respect for structure and process. No matter how far my studies take me, construction will always be my first passion. It’s where I started, where I’ve built lifelong relationships, and where I continue to find purpose — creating, restoring, and improving the spaces people live and work in.
